Every decision follows an Evidence Spine: a consistent chain from policy version → applied terms → observed outcomes, keyed for audit and replay. Telemetry quality is treated as first-class: missing outcomes, late arrivals, and schema breaks are detected and scored, so weak data cannot quietly drive strong claims.

To protect against drift and external shocks, AltVector maintains a Truth Lane—a continuously governed reference stream that anchors measurement under changing environments. A Transition Buffer flags periods immediately after policy changes, when operational inertia can blur signals.

Governance is enforced, not promised. A guardrail engine monitors thresholds and triggers automatic reversion on breach, recording the reason code and restoring the last stable policy. In short: AltVector earns confidence through bounded control, observable evidence, and disciplined reversibility.
